2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: security, authentication, booking flow, load balancing and fraud prevention. These cannot generally be disabled through WTG preferences.
- Preferences: remember choices such as saved items or cookie settings on the device.
- Payments: PayPal may place technologies needed to display checkout, authenticate a payer, prevent fraud and process a transaction under PayPal's own privacy terms.
- Analytics: measure how WTG is used. WTG will not activate non-essential analytics for users requiring consent until they opt in.
- Advertising: WTG does not currently use targeted advertising cookies. If introduced, they will be separately disclosed and controlled.
3. Managing choices
You can use WTG's preference control when available and your browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent sign-in or checkout. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.
4. Retention and third parties
Session technologies expire when the browser closes; persistent technologies remain only for their stated purpose or until deleted. Third parties such as PayPal determine the duration of their own technologies. WTG will maintain a current cookie inventory before enabling analytics or advertising.
