Plan for your actual family

Age is only one factor. Consider swimming ability, comfort with heights, walking endurance, heat, early starts and how each child responds to long transfers.

Choose experiences with natural variety

Wildlife walks, hanging bridges, gentle boats, farms, chocolate experiences, beaches and selected adventure tours can work well. One main activity per day often leaves everyone happier.

  • Verify minimum ages and child equipment
  • Ask about bathrooms and food
  • Confirm private versus shared transport
  • Carry sun and rain protection

Protect downtime

Costa Rica rewards curiosity, not rushed checklists. Leave space for a pool, beach, wildlife around the hotel and unexpected weather changes.

Share important needs early

Tell WTG and the provider about allergies, medical needs, accessibility requirements and child seating before confirmation. Never assume specialized equipment is automatically available.
